Urban Sketching in Chicago
Urban Sketching
Spent the weekend in Chicago urban sketching. Urban sketching is simply drawing from life in an urban environment. It is something that I love to do, probably my most favorite artistic hobby, and makes me present and feel artistic flow.
The architecture tour on the river by the Chicago Architecture Center was an outstanding way to learn about the city. Other highlights were The Art Institute of Chicago, Logan Square Farmers Market, and the Navy Pier.
The food was awesome. I couldn't bother drawing while eating. Pizza, hot dogs (no ketchup), Italian ice, and soup dumplings in Chinatown.
